standard rotor with V-cutting edges and fixed knives made of tool steel
+ sieve cassette: 1.00 mm trapezoidal perforation
Feed quantity:
400 g
Feed Size:
10 x 2 cm
Grinding time:
5 min
Final fineness:
99% < 1 mm
Comments:
The complete amount of sample (400 g of dried peppers) has been fed within 5 minutes.
Achieved fineness has been checked by sieving an aliquot with a test sieve of our Vibratory Sieve Shaker ANALYSETTE 3 Pro. Already 99 % of the particles can pass a test sieve with 1 mm mesh.
After grinding, only a small amount of sample use to be left loose in the grinding chamber. Mainly electrostatic charged fine particles which can be removed rapidly by vacuuming with a soft brush.
The openings of the sieve cassette remain free; a grinding of higher amounts of sample should be possible.
Also the usage of sieve cassettes with smaller openings is possible.
If classic peppers with higher content of capsaicin should be ground, we might recommend using the optional cyclone separator to prevent dust exploration. Output speed will rise and fine sample dust will be removed with the airflow of ~ 2800 L/min.
