A grinding of higher amounts is possible with our cutting mills. Next to the Cutting Mill PULVERISETTE 15, also a Universal Cutting Mill PULVERISETTE 19 might be capable for a grinding of higher amounts.
rotor with straight cutting edges and fixed knives made of tool steel
+ sieve insert with 1.00 mm trapezoidal perforation made of stainless steel
Feed quantity:
442 g
Feed Size:
3 - 4 cm
Grinding time:
15 - 20 s
Final fineness:
< 1 mm
Comments:
Complete sample amount use to be ground within 20 seconds. Openings of the sieve insert remain free. For this, even higher amounts of sample can be ground.
With the collecting vessel for large quantities, a grinding of 50-80 kg/h should be possible.
rotor with straight cutting edges and fixed knives made of tool steel
+ sieve insert with 4.00 mm square perforation stainless steel
Feed quantity:
397 g
Feed Size:
3 - 4 cm
Grinding time:
5 s
Final fineness:
< 4 mm
Comments:
In this trial, a 4 mm perforated sieve insert has been used instead of 1,0 mm trapezoidal perforation (see result 1).
For this, the sample might just fall through the machine. The 400 g of sample have been fed within 5 seconds and grinding sound stopped immediately after the last peace felt into the grinding chamber.
It is plausible that 150-250 kg/h of sample can be ground this way.
