+ accessories for grinding large quantities
Feed quantity:
400 g
Feed Size:
2 cm
Grinding time:
15 min
Final fineness:
50 % < 35.85 µm
Comments:
Sample should be fed constantly with a low feed rate. For this, we recommend connecting the optional Vibratory Feeder LABORETTE 24 to the machine.
We fed the sample by hand within 15 minutes. Majority of ground particles use to be found in the paper bag of the accessories. Only very fine ground particles use to be left in the collecting pan, sticking lightly to its surface by electrostatic charge.
Cleaning can be performed rapidly by vacuuming with a soft brush. All parts can be dissembled without using tools and cleaned with different solvents as well (without the gaskets which should be removed previously).
To determine the particle size of ground particles, we used our Laser Particle Sizer ANALYSETTE 22 MicroTec plus. We found d50 < 36 µm.
If higher amounts of sample should be ground, also the active sample exhauster system with cyclone separator can be used. With its airflow of up to 2800 liters per minute, grinding chamber and sample will be chilled additionally.
