Because of fast sticking of sample, we only recommend grinding the sample in suspension. Therefore, we added 6ml of water to the needles and ground for totally 3 minutes.

After 3 minutes of grinding, sample has been ground to a pasty mush with all particles < 100µm.

For demonstration, rest of sample has been used to show the grinding result without grinding in suspension.

After 2 minutes of dry grinding, sample use to stick to bowl and balls, still particles up to 300µm can be found.

Because of sticking, longer dry grinding times are not recommended.
