In this trial, we want to demonstrate a pre-crushing with a larger gap position where we expect an output of particles < 2 cm. The pre-ground particles might be suitable for a feeding to other machines which might be capable to achieve a fineness of 100 % < 0,5 mm.

The complete amount of sample has been ground within 70 seconds. Lightly sticking residues are easy to remove; a grinding of higher amounts is possible.

All ground particles used to be smaller as 2 cm; for fine grinding results - see following trials.

The pre-ground sample of result number 2 has been used for this trial. A feeding of original start size is not possible.

Usually, oxides or minerals are no typical applications for a cutting mill. But in this case the optional sample exhauster system with cyclone separator will remove the fine particles out of the grinding chamber after being crushed.

The sample exhauster system with cyclone separator also avoids dust exploration. Grinding chamber and sieve cassette use lo be mainly free of residues. 1460 gram have been found in the collecting glass of the cyclone separator. Electrostatic charged samples use to stick behind the sieve cassette, in the tube or in the cyclone separator.
