rotor with V-cutting edges and fixed knives made of tool steel sieve cassette: 2.00 mm trapezoidal perforation stainless steel
Feed quantity:
115 g
Feed Size:
20 cm
Grinding time:
2 min
Final fineness:
< 2 mm
Comments:
We recommend using the funnel for long and bulk solids to prevent a pre cutting of sample. This way, the complete sample got ground within 2 minutes. Afterwards, only a bit of sample use to stay attached slightly to the grinding chamber by electrostatic charge.
Because some fibers can pass the openings of the sample longitudinal, a few fibers of ~ 4-5 mm can be spotted after grinding.
All openings remain free, a grinding of higher amounts is still possible. Possibly also finer sieve cassettes like e.g. 1,5 mm or 1,0 mm trapezoidal perforation might be useable.
Cleaning can be performed rapidly by vacuuming with a soft brush.
For a daily grinding of higher amounts of sample, we recommend using a rotor with fixed knives made of hardmetal tungsten carbide for a much longer durability.
