First sample has been ground with a gap setting of 0,8 mm. The complete amount of sample got ground within 10 seconds.

There is no sticking sample between the gap of the grinding disks; only small amount of sample is sticking to the grinding chamber by electrostatic charge. Cleaning can be performed rapidly by vacuuming with a soft brush. Even higher amounts can be ground this way.

To determine the fineness, we used a Vibratory Sieve Shaker ANALYSETTE 3 Pro and test sieves of 71 µm and 630 µm as desired for sieving an aliquot of ground sample. Already 80 % of sample is in the desired range.

About 15 % of sample use to be too big and can be ground a second time after separation of fine particles (if desired). Also a grinding with smaller gap settings is possible.

With a gap setting of 0,6 mm instead of 0,8 mm (in result 1), about 82 % of sample use to be found in the desired range. Still about 10 % of sample use to be too big and can be used a second time (if desired).

Already 8 % of sample use to be finer as 71 µm.
