CCA pine wood cubes

After a total grinding time of 5 minutes, the particles use to be ground to < 300 µm. The desired fineness has been reached.

For metal free grinding, bowl and balls made of sintered corundum can be used (see following trail).

Because of the lower density of Al2O3, 15 minutes of dry grinding time has been required to grind all sample to < 300 µm.

Because grinding material (Al2O3) use to be sintered, higher abrasion is expected to be found (compared with tempered steel grinding material in previous trial).
