A dry grinding of sample is not possible. Because of the high oil or fat content, sample starts to stick immediately.
The given quantitiy of water (60ml) was not enough in order to produce a paste which can be ground in the Laboratory Mortar Grinder. It was necessary adding 40ml (totally 100ml) of water. Afterwards, sample can be ground to a fine paste. |

A dry grinding of sample is not possible. Because of the high oil or fat content, sample starts to stick immediately.
We recommend using also 100ml water for this application. With both samples a higher fineness is reachable through an extension of the grinding time. |
